GK1 Sports Partners with Prevention First

Group Becomes Newest Member of GK1 Sports Bucks Back Program

GK1 Sports has officially announced a partnership with Prevention First, a youth awareness group that showcases a mission of keeping children healthy, safe and drug-free. As part of the alliance, Prevention First has joined the GK1 Sports “Bucks Back” Program, giving everybody who shops online at the GK1 Sports store the opportunity to donate a portion of their purchase to the foundation.

“Prevention First is a group that does many great things within the community, and we are very excited to announce this partnership,” GK1 Sports CEO Tony Meola stated. “Their ambitious cause is directly in line with the initiative of our Bucks Back Program, and we now look to assist them in spreading the word about their agency.”

Based in Ocean and Monmouth County of New Jersey, Prevention First is a non-profit group focused on the positive growth of children through community outreach and youth development programs. They work with children to help them make the best decision when dealing with difficult situations in everyday life, such as violence and substance abuse, making available various classes and events to educate them about such topics. In addition to those efforts, Prevention First is also a profound advocate in anti-bullying campaigns.

"The Bucks Back Program is a great opportunity to make a positive contribution to such noble organizations as Prevention First," Meola continued. "When we first established GK1 Sports, we wanted to make sure we were doing our part to assist community-driven groups like theirs, and our Bucks Back Program was created so we could do just that."

Anyone shopping online at www.GK1Sports.com can support Prevention First at checkout when asked what charitable organization they wish to support. A percentage of their purchase will then be donated to the foundation. Those seeking additional information about Prevention First should visit www.PreventionFirst.net.
