Two Organizations Entering 5th Year of Relationship
Resolution Sports formally announced on Monday that the company has renewed a partnership with the New Jersey Wildcats of the USL W-League for a fifth season. Resolution Sports will continue to handle the communication and social media needs for the Wildcats, in addition to managing its game day press box responsibilities.
“The New Jersey Wildcats were one of the original partners of Resolution Sports when the company was founded, and we are ecstatic to continue working with them for a fifth consecutive year,” Resolution Sports CEO John Archibald remarked. “The Wildcats are one of the most historically successful teams both in the USL W-League and the game of women’s soccer overall. It is a privilege for us to keep working alongside such a class organization.”
The New Jersey Wildcats and Resolution Sports began their partnership prior to the start of the 2008 USL W-League season, and the two groups have worked together every season since then.
"Resolution Sports is the top media relations company in the country in our view, and we are very excited to work with them again this season!” Wildcats President and head coach Kevin McDermott stated. “We have developed a great relationship with Resolution Sports over the years, and we look forward to continuing this partnership well into the future.”
The New Jersey Wildcats played their debut season in the USL W-League in 1996 and have competed every year since. The team compiled a 41-1 regular season record from 2004-06, winning regular season titles in 2004 and 2006 while taking the W-League championship in 2005. Following the 2005 season, the Wildcats were named the USL Franchise of the Year. After the completion of the 2008 season, USP Soccer headlined a new ownership regime for the Wildcats, and the team received postseason bids after each of its first three seasons with the group at the helm. The Wildcats are one of the longest running franchises in women’s soccer history, with the team kicking off its 18th year of play this summer in the W-League.
The Wildcats return to Lions Stadium at The College of New Jersey in Ewing on Wednesday, May 22nd, hosting the North Jersey Valkyries for its 2013 season opener at 7:45 p.m. Tickets for all Wildcats home matches are also now available and can be attained by calling 732-298-7619.
