Resolution Promotions will work with individuals from all genres within the entertainment industry.
A new player has entered the world of music and entertainment, and its name is Resolution Promotions. A brother company to sports communication firm Resolution Sports, Resolution Promotions will directly handle publicity for athletes, musicians and entertainers, working with individuals from all genres within the entertainment industry.
“Today is an unbelievably exciting day for the Resolution brand and all of those people who are associated with what we have been building over the past five years,” said Resolution Promotions President/CEO John Archibald, who has served in the same capacity for Resolution Sports since it was founded in 2008. “Sports are something we feel that we have established a strong footprint, and the time has come to extend into all aspects of entertainment. We already have a great group of talented individuals in place for the launch of Resolution Promotions, and the sky is truly the limit for what this company is capable of accomplishing.”
The first person to join the Resolution Promotions roster is hip hop artist MB, a New Jersey based rapper who created the theme song for Resolution Sports called “Join the Resolution.” His debut mixtape “Straight 2 Tha Top” was released in 2012, and MB says he is both excited and appreciative to be the first man on board with Resolution Promotions.
Joining MB on the Resolution Promotions roster is Olivia Negron, a recording artist who is based out of New Jersey and currently working on producing a new studio album. Also being publicized by Resolution Promotions are undefeated professional boxer Derrick “Take it the Bank” Webster (14-0, 7 KOs) and Coach Anthony Rodriguez, who are both longtime advocates of the brand under the Resolution Sports banner.
The launch of Resolution Promotions was handpicked to be done on June 5th, as the numbers 6-05 hold a significant meaning to Archibald.
“I dedicate this company to the memory of my brother, Brendan, who we tragically lost in September of 2012,” he stated. “He was formerly a stock car driver on dirt tracks, running under the number 605. Now every year when we take our annual lap on 6-05, it will be a both a celebration of his life and another year of success for the company.”
The primary focus of Resolution Promotions will be dealing directly with individual athletes, musicians and entertainers, with Resolution Sports continuing in its normal fashion as a firm that handles communications and marketing for sports clients while also covering the sports world from a journalistic perspective. The two companies will work hand-in-hand, but Resolution Promotions will be more focused on promoting the individual rather than a team or organization.
