Resolution Sports to Serve as Official Media Arm for Organization

The Ironbound Soul Soccer Club (1-0-2, 5 points) of the American Soccer League (ASL) formally announced on Wednesday that the team has named Resolution Sports as its official media arm. With the partnership, Resolution Sports will assume the communications responsibilities for the Soul, including media relations, social media and assisting in all promotional efforts.

“The Ironbound Soul has been growing exponentially,” noted Kelly Davis, team co-owner and President of Woller Malloy Sports Management. “With such growth, there is a need for a qualified communications firm to help us keep up with the abounding fan interest. Resolution Sports not only exceeds this description with their experience and love of sports, but they are also a local New Jersey firm—which was important to us as northern New Jersey’s only professional soccer team.”

Resolution Sports is a sports communication firm that was founded in 2008 by its CEO, John Archibald. The company specializes in media relations, marketing and social media, bringing industry experience on multiple platforms across professional sports. Among some of the soccer organizations in which it has performed communications duties include Sky Blue FC (National Women’s Soccer League), New Jersey Ironmen, Philadelphia KiXX (Major Indoor Soccer League), Pali Blues Soccer Club and New Jersey Wildcats (USL W-League).

“It is with great pleasure that Resolution Sports is aligning itself with the Ironbound Soul Soccer Club,” Archibald remarked. “The level of enthusiasm and expertise among the organization is second to none, and they have the type of passion that will lead to exponential growth as a team and for the sport in general. I know that our two groups will do tremendous work together, and I cannot express how excited we are at Resolution Sports to partner with such a class franchise and group of people.”

Three games into its inaugural ASL season, the Ironbound Soul will return to action this Sunday, October 5th, when it travels south to meet the Atlantic City Crusaders (2-5-0, 6 points) at Silver Eagle Field in Egg Harbor Township, New Jersey. Kickoff for that contest is set for 5:00 p.m. The Soul will return home to Williams Field in Elizabeth (team will be moving to the Ironbound Stadium Complex next year upon completion of renovation projects) on Saturday, October 25th, to host the Rhode Island Oceaneers (1-2-0, 3 points).
