Tournament in Conjunction with Cambria Heights Kickers of Southeast Queens

Bloomfield, N.J. (Saturday, January 16, 2010) – Planet90 Soccer formally announced today that the company will be holding a pair of indoor soccer tournaments in collaboration with Cambria Heights Kickers of Southeast Queens. The tournaments, which will be hosted at York College by the men’s soccer program, include a U-11 boys bracket on Saturday, January 30th, and a U-16 boys competition on Saturday, February 11th.

“I am very excited about working with the Kickers Soccer Club of Southeast Queens,” Planet90 Soccer President Oral Bullen said. “This was my first soccer club as a youth player, so when I see the younger kids, it reminds me of myself at that age.”

Being someone that learned the game of soccer at a young age in its program, Bullen knows the Kickers Soccer Club of Southeast Queens has a positive influence on the community it represents.

“The Kickers Club has provided over 20 years of service to the Queens, New York, community,” he commented. “Club Director Mr. Fritz Casimir has provided a place for the children to learn the great game of soccer for many years. Coaches such as my uncle and youth coach, Lorne Bullen, helped me become the professional player I am today, and they continue to work diligently with the youth teams to provide the same opportunities that led to me being successful. I would like to see all the youth teams in the metropolitan area come join us for an afternoon of great competitive soccer, played in a first class facility!"

The location of the York College Gym is 94-20 Guy R. Brewer Boulevard in Queens. Both the January 30th U-11 and the February 13th U-16 boys tournament will run from 11:30-4:00 p.m. on their respective dates. Roster sizes are limited to 12 players, and the games will be played 6v6 (including goalkeeper). Each team that registers will be guaranteed three full games of 20 minutes each, with the top four teams advancing to a playoff round. The winning team of the tournament will also be rewarded for its achievement.

Registration for this tournament is $150 per team and can be done online at or by mailing the registration form (also available online) to Planet90 Soccer, P.O. Box 223, Glen Ridge, NJ 07028. For additional questions, email Bullen directly at
