R&B Singer Razah to Do Halftime Performance
East Orange, N.J. (Wednesday, January 20, 2010) – The Jersey Express (8-3) of the American Basketball Association will return to their home court at East Orange Campus High School this Saturday, hosting the New York City Thunder. With a 7:00 p.m. tipoff getting the action started, this divisional match-up will also feature a halftime performance by R&B singer Razah, who is often seen on BET’s 106 and Park.
"Let's show Razah that performing in New Jersey at an Express game is as exciting as performing at Madison Square Garden!” Express President Marsha Blount exclaimed. “We need the fans of both the Express and Razah to come out and support us on Saturday at 7 p.m. With a win over the NYC Thunder, we look to take over the division lead.”
All kids’ tickets for the home contest on Saturday night will be only $5, and general admission adult tickets are $10. Anyone who wishes to preorder tickets can do so by emailing email@example.com, and tickets will also be available at the gate for this game.
Razah is the latest major recording artist to perform at an Express home game this season, with such artists as Ciarra Carr and Spotlight Ray already coming out to support the team.
