Ronson Frank’s Uprising Promotions has confirmed the date and venue for its first show of 2016, returning to the Five Star Banquet Hall in Long Island City on Friday, Jan. 29th. Entitled Friday Night Fights, the card will continue the tradition of Uprising Promotions to put on entertaining fights that feature top prospects from throughout the region.

“We are happy to head back to Long Island City. The Five Star Banquet Hall is a great venue, and we are very comfortable with the setting there,” said Ronson Frank, President of Uprising Promotions. “Fans can expect a really compelling show. We have some rising stars on this card as part of an exciting lineup, and there will also be some celebrity guests in the building. Overall, it will be another high quality night, just like we always have at the Five Star Banquet Hall.”

The first bell on Jan. 29th is scheduled for 7:00 PM sharp, with doors opening at 6:30 PM. The Five Star Banquet Hall is located at 13-05 43rd Avenue in Long Island City, and its intimate setting ensures that there is not a bad seat in the house. Tickets are priced at $60 for general admission and $100 for ringside seating, and there is also a table option with dinner. For pricing on those tables, call (516) 451-6773.

Friday Night Fights will continue the initiative of Uprising Promotions to KO Autism, with proceeds from the night getting donated to The School For Language and Communication Development (SLCD) in Glen Cove, New York. This card is also being sponsored by Brooklyn Brothers, Sleep Inn, Resolution Sports and Charlie’s Auto Collision in Long Island City.
