Corey Cohen and Dan Lauletta to Call the Action for Sky Blue FC in 2016

Sky Blue FC of the National Women’s Soccer League (NWSL) announced today that Corey Cohen and Dan Lauletta will be calling the play-by-play action for the team during its 2016 home matches. Additionally, Sky Blue FC has also renewed with its broadcast production partner, NJ Discover.

A graduate of the University of Pittsburgh, Cohen brings versatile experience in the broadcast booth to Sky Blue FC, having called play-by-play action for soccer, football, basketball, baseball and nearly 15 other sports. Among the locations where the Philadelphia native has been on the microphone include at the college level with Penn, Delaware, Lehigh, Franklin & Marshall, Haverford and across multiple platforms at ESPN Williamsport. He also hosted and produced a weekly sports talk show on 92.1 WPTS Pittsburgh, as well as currently doing so with Unscripted: The Cardiac Hill Podcast. Additionally, he has been featured on ESPNU and done work for a variety of radio stations in both Pittsburgh and Philadelphia.

“I am incredibly excited to join the Sky Blue FC organization as the play-by-play broadcaster,” Cohen stated. “Soccer has been a big part of my life since childhood, and it has been exciting to see the women’s game grow in our area. I look forward to bringing the fans access to what I am sure will be a thrilling season.”

Lauletta returns to the booth for another season with Sky Blue FC after working with the team over the past three years. The New York native has been extensively involved in the game of women’s soccer since the days of the Women’s United Soccer Association (WUSA), and he currently serves as a lead contributor for Equalizer Soccer. A top analyst of the game, Lauletta brings a wealth of knowledge and understanding of the NWSL to Sky Blue FC broadcasts.

"Working on the Sky Blue FC broadcasts the last two seasons has been a privilege and more fun than I could have imagined,” Lauletta remarked. “I am thankful to the club for the opportunity to return for the 2016 season and look forward to bigger and better things on the webcast this season."
