NJ Wildcats South Tryouts An Overwhelming Success

Players From All Over South Jersey Turn Out for Tryouts in Lacey Township

After a recent expansion into the region, NJ Wildcats South had an extremely successful night of tryouts on Wednesday evening, the first that it has hosted since an agreement with Lacey Soccer Club earlier this month. Players from all over South Jersey showed up for the tryouts, which were held at Hebrew Park in Lanoka Harbor.

"It was overwhelming to see such a tremendous response to these tryouts," said Kevin McDermott, President of NJ Wildcats. "We had players throughout the entire region come out, and we were able to identify many skillful players who we will look to place into our system. After seeing how well these tryouts went, we know that this program is going to be a huge success."

With the recent agreement established between Lacey Soccer Club and NJ Wildcats South, the group now offers the premiere soccer training and development program for Ocean County, Atlantic County and all of Southern New Jersey. Programming already available through NJ Wildcats South includes Summer Select, Winter Select and Year Round Academy Teams.

"We knew that working with NJ Wildcats would be a great fit for us, and these tryouts were a clear indication of what a bright future we have ahead of us," said Peter Mangan, President of Lacey Soccer Club. "We will continue to expand and improve our program, and we will remain focused on offering the best soccer training and player development services throughout the entire southern region of New Jersey."

Three more sessions of tryouts are scheduled for NJ Wildcats South: April 27, May 4 and May 11. All trials will be run at Hebrew Park, which is located at 327 Cedar Avenue in Lanoka Harbor, N.J.
