Resolution Sports to Assist UWLX in Media Relations and Digital Strategy
The United Women’s Lacrosse League (UWLX) announced today that it has named Resolution Sports as its communications partner, with the company handling media relations responsibilities and assisting in public relations and digital strategy efforts for the league.
“We are really excited to be working with Resolution Sports,” said Digit Murphy, UWLX co-founder and CEO. “Their out of the box and creative thinking is a perfect fit for us. Our model of doing women's sports in a different way is fully complemented by John Archibald and his ability to have a vision for the future.”
Resolution Sports was founded in 2008 by lifelong sports enthusiast John Archibald and has also been a major advocate for the advancement of women’s sports since its inception. One significant relationship of Resolution Sports has been as the communications partner for Sky Blue FC of the National Women’s Soccer League, where the company manages all communication aspects for the organization. In addition to Sky Blue FC, Resolution Sports also performs communication responsibilities for various other sports and entertainment groups, which has enabled it to establish strong media relationships across the industry.
“On behalf of Resolution Sports, I cannot express how excited we are to join the United Women’s Lacrosse League,” said Archibald. “From the first time I spoke with co-founders Aronda Kirby and Digit Murphy, I instantly became motivated by their vision and enthusiasm, and I knew that I wholeheartedly wanted to work alongside them and their staff. There is an incredibly hard-working and driven team behind the UWLX, and Resolution Sports will exhaust every bit of effort and resources that we can to contribute to the many successes that are heading the way of this league.”
