Weekend Slate of Games to Be Played at Noon in Two Locations

The United Women’s Lacrosse League (UWLX) has officially changed the venues for this weekend’s slate of matches, with both games on the docket being played at noon in separate locations in the immediate Philadelphia area. The Philadelphia Force (0-2) will host the Baltimore Ride (0-2) at Sweeney Field on the campus of St. Joseph’s University, while the Long Island Sound (2-0) will take on the Boston Storm (2-0) at the Decou Sports Complex in Cherry Hill, N.J., as part of the National Draw Tournament.

These matches were moved to the Philadelphia region as a method for the league to celebrate its relationship with community partner, Eyekonz Field Hockey and Lacrosse League, as well as conduct an equipment donation to its adopted girl’s lacrosse team from Strawberry Mansion High School. The two partnerships serve as vital relationships to the community-driven UWLX, and they will both be highlighted during the weekend.

Season passes for the 2016 UWLX season are available now online and can be purchased for the low price of just $25! Season passes are good for the complete schedule of games that the UWLX will play in 2016.
