Camp to Be Held on September 8th
East Orange, N.J. (Friday, August 13, 2010) – In conjunction with the Boys & Girls Club of West Orange, the Jersey Express of the American Basketball Association officially announced today that it will host a youth basketball camp on Wednesday, September 8th. The camp, which will run from 6:30-8:30 p.m., will be hosted at the basketball facility of the Boys & Girls Club of West Orange.
“We are looking forward to reaching out to the local community and are hoping this will possibly be the start of many more camps and clinics to come,” Express head coach Casaundra Smith stated. “We hope to get the kids from this year to agree to come back next year and do it all over again. That way, we can begin to form a bond that can continue into the future."
Coach Smith will serve as co-coordinator of the camp, with Express players also on board to run the drills and training. The clinic will be open for both boys and girls between the ages of 8-18. Players of all skill levels are encouraged to come out and take part in this special evening.
Anyone interesting in co-hosting the Express camp or having the team make an appearance at an upcoming event can contact Coach Smith today at 1-800-533-6481 or via email at firstname.lastname@example.org.
