Gabriel Bracero to Meet Hector Alatorre in Main Event

Another night of Broadway Boxing is headed back to BB Kings on Wednesday, December 1st, with unbeaten junior welterweight Gabriel Bracero (12-0, 1 KO) taking on veteran Hector Alatorre (16-11, 5 KOs) in the main event of the evening. This series of Broadway Boxing, which is a presentation of DiBella Entertainment, also features a battle of two undefeated super featherweights when Dominican fighter Javier Fortuna (12-0, 9 KOs) faces New Jersey native Victor Valenzuela (8-0, 1 KO) in the co-feature of the evening.

Bracero has been a regular at BB Kings as part of the Broadway Boxing series, with this bout marking his fifth trip to downtown Manhattan for the show. The 29-year-old Bronx native last stepped into the ring in October at BB Kings when he defeated Terry Buterbaugh by decision, marking his first bout since July when he stopped Raymond Betancourt in the fourth round. Before that pairing, he fought on the Calderon-Iribe bill at Madison Square Garden, taking a unanimous decision over Philadelphia’s Julias Edmonds.

After jumping to a stellar 14-0 start to his professional career, Alatorre has won just two of his last 13 bouts against some pretty formidable competition. Only once has the California product fallen victim to a knockout, although, a TKO loss to Victor Oriz in February. This pairing with Bracero marks his first trip to the East Coast, with the majority of his previous fights taking place in his native state.

Also competing in individual bouts on next Wednesday’s bill will be heavyweights Tor Hamer (12-1, 9 KOs) and Sonya Lamonakis (2-0, 1 KO), junior middleweights Steven Martinez (6-0, 6 KOs) and Delen Parsley, Jr. (3-0, 2 KOs), as well as welterweight Alex Perez (12-0, 7 KOs).

Tickets for Broadway Boxing start at just $55 and are available now by calling DiBella Entertainment at (212) 947-2577.
