Matguard USA, the leading antibacterial product company focused on preventing skin disease in athletics, has officially announced the renewal of its partnership with the New Jersey State Interscholastic Athletic Association (NJSIAA). As part of the relationship, Matguard USA served as a featured partner this past weekend at the NJSIAA State High School Wrestling Championships in Atlantic City, New Jersey.

“Matguard is proud to announce that we have re-signed our contract with the New Jersey State Interscholastic Athletic Association, kicking off at the state wrestling finals in Atlantic City over the weekend,” said Tom Bunge, President of Matguard USA. “We are happy to say that we have been a partner with the NJSIAA for three years. We do a lot of education and information directly to all of the coaching staffs, and being a New Jersey based company, we are proud to support our home state association and what they do for the betterment of sports in the state. We remain excited about this partnership, and we look forward to continuing a strong relationship with the NJSIAA.”

The NJSIAA State High School Wrestling Championships were a definite success this past weekend, with the top high school wrestlers in New Jersey competing for state supremacy. Throughout the entire weekend, Matguard USA staffed an information booth with all of the latest information about the company and its product line.

The patented skin and body protection products by Matguard USA are used by over 1,500 professional, college and high school sports teams, as well as over 1,000 MMA facilities, gyms and health clubs to assist in the prevention of MRSA and other skin diseases. Its product line includes body wipes, body cleansing sprays and foams that protect athletes from attaining potentially dangerous skin infections when used after athletic activity.

The NJSIAA was founded in 1918, and it operates as a voluntary, non-profit organization made up of 433 accredited public, private and parochial high schools in the state. The New Jersey Association joins the other 49 state associations to constitute the National Federation of State High School Associations (NFSHSA), which has represented the best interests of high school athletics since 1920. Collectively, the NFSHSA represents 22,000 schools, including more than 330,000 coaches and almost 4.5 million high school athletes.
